Ocean Scourge
Two-Headed Emperor "he/him" & "she/her"
A thunderstorm is brewing...
Kaimaris is an incredibly aggressive and powerful two-headed Emperor who was last seen terrorizing the deep ocean. They are composed of a male Water Imperial and a female Lightning Imperial, making them a lethal combination of elements.
Very little is known about their past, except for two former cliffside graves labelled "Kai" and "Maris" - hence their current name.
»[Backstory]«
Kai was born with Water magic; his wings allowed him to glide elegantly across the waves and form whirlpools at his pleasure. He was an orphan raised within his clan, and it had been his home since. It was fate that he came across Maris while strolling along the day one day.
Maris was born with Lighting magic; her wings could cut through storms and draw lightning. She had crashed from the Lightning territories, and she was far away from home. Upon meeting Kai, she fell in love and chose to join his clan.
Kai and Maris were always together and never apart. The clan knew this well.
But they were the only Imperials of their clan, and, thus, the clan never learned how to properly handle Imperial burials.
When Kai fell in battle, they buried him by the beach, on a spot overlooking the cliffside. Soon after, Maris died from heartbreak, and she was buried beside her mate as clan tradition.
They woke up, confused and scared, and lost most of their former memories - including their deaths. They couldn't comprehend what they had become or how much time had passed. Their bodies had merged almost flawlessly, besides some slight neck deformities and double heads. The first thing they did was seek the comfort of their clan mates.
Kai called out to his family in desperation. The clan grounds began to burn as streaks of lightning reached out and lashed at them.
Maris tried to grab a hold of someone - anyone. The fleeing survivors were dragged and crushed beneath the heavy, grasping waves.
When the sun rose, the two-headed Emperor was hunched over in exhaustion, looking at what used to be their home. The red sunlight slowly revealed the dark, smoldering fields and broken buildings. Friends and family disappeared from their sight. In their hallucinations, they did not hear their screams.
They could hear nothing.
...and everything was gone.
In their final moment of lucidity, Kai and Maris knew what they had to do and took off towards the ocean, tossing their broken body into the furthest depths. They would never return.
