Even when Paeris was a hatchling there was a strange air about them. Maybe it was the glint in their eyes when they spotted anything even resembling a rune, or maybe it was their strange fascination with spirits or cursed items that pushed others away. Not that it mattered much, all Paeris truly cared about was just how much trouble they could eventually stir with the aid of some old runes.... Perhaps it would be safer to stay on their good side.

Paeris is a rather distant dragon, both by choice and by nature. They choose to often stray away from other dragons despite genuinely finding isolation to be a drag, instead focusing their mind on rune hunting after dark in order to satiate their hunger for knowledge on hexes and enchantments. As distant as Paeris can be, they can still be rather fast-talking and sassy with others, usually in a playful and mischievous manner that may be a bit hard to understand, especially to those that don't know that their threats to hex are truly just playful banter. Although befriending Paeris can be difficult due to their focus on their interests as opposed to social skills, they can prove to be a great friend that is always willing to put their adventures on halt if their friends need them, even if they themself can get a little clingy and excitable at times.
