Biography
CORUNDUM
Blacksmith | Blunt | Industrious | Private | Stubborn
LORE
An ambassador from an allied Plague clan, Corundum was at first received with trepidation by her new hosts in Lightning. Many of the more sociable dragons were put off by her taciturn nature and baleful red stare, and some of the more superstitious among them believed that her presence would spread disease throughout the lair. Excursio and Incursio were quick to quash these sullen mutterings and welcomed Corundum into the lair with all the dignity that befit an emissary from another clan.
While some of the Coatls are still wary of Corundum, she does not care - in fact, she does not care much what any of the other dragons in the lair think of her. Confident and self-assured, Corundum is also not particularly social and cares more about her role as the clan's resident smith than about pleasing her adopted family. Usefulness and industry are more valuable to her than any social pleasantries, and the fighting dragons of the clan are quick to agree with her sentiment, as it is she who repairs their armor after battle.
Corundum is difficult to draw into conversation, and can become irritable when distracted from her work; enter her forge at your own peril, for she has a barbed tongue and is very crafty with her insults. She has no mate, nor does she have any desire for one - her work and her small group of carefully chosen friends are the only things she needs to keep her happy. She enjoys the company and general no-nonsense attitude of the clan's veteran fighters and will often swap stories with them after a long day at the forge, but the only dragon she is truly fond of is her stubborn and determined apprentice, Arctos.
