Biography
Xenia Shimmerfrost "Hospitality" |
╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮
"Insert Quote Here" ╰━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╯ Born of a long line of peacekeepers and negotiators, it was customary for a coming-of-age dragon such as herself to seek a patron clan for which to conduct her work. Upon visiting the Z'Arduani kingdom, she was immediately enraptured by the beauty of Prince Pearl, a charismatic young Bogsneak with shimmering alabaster scales. Pearl's father, King Inoso, was amused by the way that the two young hopefuls gazed upon one another and decided to hire Xenia as his official mediator. It was no surprise to the kingdom when Pearl announced that he was to marry Xenia only a few months after her arrival. The clan approved of this union for the love, kindness, and virtue of the beautiful dragoness captured the heart of every dragon whom she smiled upon. Much to her surprise, Pearl took it quite well when Xenia admitted to him that she was infertile and therefore could give him no heirs for the future throne. He embraced her and told her that her love was more important to him than his bloodline. However, that comment alone was enough to inspire Xenia, and for many months she procured the aid of fertility specialists across all of Sornieth to aid her in the conception of a child. Finally, after a long and tiring process of testing magics, applying salves, hoarding fertility statues, taking potions, and eating herbs, Xenia announced that she and now-king Pearl were the proud parents of a clutch of eggs. She doted upon her nest day and night until her eggs finally hatched, and it was all worth it to see her childrens' precious faces for the first time. Unfortunately, though, the laying of four eggs was much too difficult for her frail body, so it was only days after the hatching of her clutch that Xenia died. The entire kingdom mourned her loss, but Pearl mourned her the most of all. A massive memorial service and burial was organized to honor the lost queen after she met her tragic end. Of course, then, it came as quite a shock to Xenia when she later found herself awake, alive, and residing within a new clan. She has no idea how long she had resided in the afterlife nor does she know how she was risen from the dead. All she knows is that she is grateful to be given a new chance at life within this new home. She does not remember anything of her past other than the distinct feeling of once having a previous life, however she does compulsively hoard fertility statues. The personal meaning of this habit is as much of a mystery to herself as it is to her clanmates. Insert Lore Here |
