Biography
If unadopted, send me back to AmethystOwl! <3
Imperials have always been children of the light, so it is always a pity to see one consumed by the Plaguebringer’s influence. It had been a simple mistake, carelessness that rippled into tragedy. What could have been a moment with friends of flight exhibitions and laughter had turned into tears and anguish. Another light dragon had accidentally hit her wing and given her momentum, took her off balance and with the uncooperative winds sent her crashing into the plague ridden lands below, The Scarred Wastelands.
Friends hovered and called out to their companion to see if she was alright.
“I am fine.” A voice meekly said.
Dragons were hardy beings after all, a simple crash would not kill them. If anything a fall like that was no different from a child taking a trip on the rocky ground, it was painful but not a disaster.
However, the land of the plague was far from any terrain, it ate and corrupted everything it touched. The young Imperial shakily pushed herself up only to find and see horrors in front of her dear friend’s faces. She had began to change, bright colors consumed by the bloody corruption. Her mind slowly sent into disarray, but slow enough that she could not differentiate the new thoughts from her own.
“I am fine.” She said again, her voice now rough and grumbling, so different from what it was before.
Another Imperial spoke, though he had hesitated for a moment with restless eyes that sought out for the answers for all these questions that filled his head from his fellow dragons. “Lux, uh, we can leave now.”
“That is not my name. She has given me another. I hear her voice in my head.”
“She?” The dragons looked at one another. “Who is this?
“My name is Thalassemia.”
At this moment, the other dragons felt their heart drop. They have heard of such corruptions that have happened to other dragons born from this land or from foreigners that have allowed themselves to be consumed. They just had not realized they would see it ever in their lives happening.
“And all shall be consumed by The Plague.”
