Biography
-
-cunning, playful, likes to have fun
-tries to act tough when riled up but actually wont even hurt a fly
-adores hatchlings and love to play with/take care of them
-only one brave enough to look after the Melon Brigade
-gets embarrassed when his soft side is pointed out
vinny would have gray hairs if he could wrote:
Watermelon: Oh, goodness. What a wonderful way to start. Just him alone was a total handful, so imagine how I felt when other hatchlings starting coming along! How'd he summon them? Why do they listen to practically everything he says? How come none have rabies yet? These kids really do have kind souls, but this little disaster is such an influence on them. I thought I could connect with him better, considering we're of the same species and all, but all he likes to do is pull my fins. Seriously!
Alan: Alan is the second eternally youthful hatchling to show up. I've never mentioned it, but she really was worse for wear at first. And I don't mean she was a troublemaker. Alan and Aesher seem to have a weary history together; In fact, they don't talk about their past at all. She and Watermelon have bonded a lot, though, and I'm proud of the progress she's made. It's nice to see a smile on her face. I can't even complain about her rambunctiousness nowadays!
Lovey: Another absolute sweetheart with an absolutely terrible influence. She came to us a wingless, nameless orphan, but the others quickly made her feel at home. They held an "initiation ceremony" and everything for her- those hatchlings are an absolute headache, but I can tell they care for each other a lot. It's cute Watermelon tries to keep his soft heart a secret.
Kyrith: For all the other kids, I've at least known how they entered our clan. But Kyrith? I have no idea! The kids just walked into the den one day and said "We have a new friend, and we're keeping her"! Mystery aside, though, I was not happy to have a super hyper spiral amongst all the other crazies.
Frog: He thinks he's good at hiding (I know that statue is you, Frog, now stop that). He really tries his best, but seems to forget that his tail glows. Still a cute kid, also mischievous of course. Likes to chase and pounce things.
Swamptoast: She's a bit odd and always smells like moss, but a nice kid nonetheless. She and Frog are attached by the hip, though the two have bonded with the others nicely. They can't help but roll in mud every time it rains... and guess who has to clean them every time? Lucky me! I find it a bit endearing though, annoying as it is. She's actually pretty patient at times- I'm forever grateful she lets me trim her nails without a fuss. I just wish the kids would stop using her horns as a battering ram!
