Ámhra is a chandler - a dragon who makes candles with the finest of beeswax. Some are simple, designed only to offer light, but others are imbued with scent and colour meant to freshen and beautify a space, some include ingredients for the craft of mystics or witches, and others are designed to mark time. He also provides purified waxes for ointments and for cosmetics. In his spare time Ámhra crafts beautiful lanterns out of thinnest paper, designed to be lit and then borne aloft on the flame - they are used to make offerings of remembrance to the ancestors on special days, to the delight of the clan's hatchlings.

Ámhra is an Old Irish name meaning "very wonderful".
