Biography
Title:Magi
Role: Mage/Shaman
although, a bit mistrusted since she's of plague heritage.
The Job of a Shaman: Shamans are unique to this Troop. Wildclaws of the Plague region often have an entire fleet of magi who create virulent diseases to be used as weapons, coating the pus of their creations on the claws of their warriors. Wildclaws under the banner of the Gladekeeper view these plague dragons with more disgust than average. This Troop's Mage specializes in collecting the venom and toxic blood of animals to forge them into cures or weapons. Nature-aligned Wildclaws usually view such tactics as cowardly and dishonorable. But Commander Lamia values survival over honor, and if it gives her warriors an edge and protects her young Troop, then she will allow it.
How Roxy came to be part of the Troop is a bit of an enigma. One hopeless night, the Troop's beloved Commander fell drastically ill. A mysterious Plague-aligned Wildclaw appeared from the fog and offered to cure her- for a price. Out of desperation, the Protectors allowed Roxy to work her magic and Commander Lamia was well within the course of the week. And as for Roxy's payment, she demanded a place among the new Troop. It is rumored that she was exiled from her own clan in the Plague Bringer's territory, and sought asylum among a small Troop in the Gladekeeper's realm. She makes no effort to hide her disdain for the growing and verdant habitat. She even forged a disease-ridden lair for her to take refuge in when the sweet scents of spring become too horrid to bear. She takes great pleasure in studying the progression of diseases and is sometimes rewarded with live trespassing prisoners for her experimentation. Her overall status and relationship with her Troop-mates vary with each individual. Some are respectful, others are indifferent, all are fearful. And a select few openly express their less-than civil opinions of her. She mostly keeps to herself, surrounded in a homemade paradise of rot and infection.
