Sundial Sorceress and Mate of Mystial, Oriande came to reside with her family after drifting into the planetary system that contained Sornieth. Drawing council from the Houses of Hourglass and Firetouch, Oriande uses her magic to operate the immense sundials located within the domain of the Starborn. These sundials rely on sunlight and energy from Oriande herself to operate year round, and aid the clan in tracking multiple daily & annual events.

Whilst maintaining her sorceress duties, Oriande also loves interacting and caring for the younger members of the clan. She babysits and nannies young hatchlings whilst they learn and grown into their magic. Oriande's own children, daughters Evenstar and Auroria, aid in her watching over the youngsters, adamantly protective over the future of the the Thunder-Arrow clan. With her duties having almost no end in sight, Oriande, like many of the Starborn, rarely ever sleeps. She is an embodiment of her house's dutifulness to remain watchful over all of the clan's corners and domains.
