Biography
Title: Upbringer
Role: Upbringer
The Job of an Upbringer: An Upbringer takes charge of protecting eggs and raising hatchlings to be productive members of the troop. They may specialize in teaching one role if there are multiple. An upbringer's status is mid-to-high in the hierarchy, but it is a surprisingly stressful position. Hatchlings are rowdy, and anything that happens to them is solely placed on an upbringer's shoulders. If a hatchling under an upbringer's care is seriously harmed-or worse-the Upbringer will be exiled. Upbringers are chosen based on their willingness for the position coupled with their temperament.
Monarch is rather young for her position, but luckily she has extra time to train herself. This Troop is rather new, and no eggs have been laid as of yet. She is kind, patient, observant, and fierce. All desirable traits for the duty of raising Wildclaw and Mirror dragon hatchlings. Upbringers must be well-versed in combat skills, as they are the first line of defense against egg-thieves and other enemies. Like Stealth, she is wary of visitors, whether they have registered themselves with the Commander or not. However, she is quick to change her perspective and gives in to her motherly nature when strangers seem to be in desperate need.
