Ptarmigan Skydancer:
Skydancers born of Ylva show her somewhat unique anatomy.
Though their skeletal structure is mostly identical to other skydancers, their plumage is vastly different.
Thick, insulating feathers cover their body, completely obscuring wing membranes and making their silhouette quite ovular.

They are perfectly designed for life within the coldest of locales, and are rumored by some to be blessed by the Icewarden for this reason.
