Biography
Rob quietly sits on the shore, staring at the horizon. His favorite time of day is when he can take a breather and look at the place where the sea and the sky sort of turn into one. Today, that moment only came after the sun had already set, so now Rob watches the night sky instead of the clouds. It’s still stunning though, the way that the starts reflect onto the water. The sea and the sky almost seem to be the same shade of dark blue, and it’s even harder to see the difference between the two of them. Rob wonders if there even is a difference. All he knows is that the sky is above the sea, but they always look so alike…
As the Spiral stares at the horizon, he suddenly notices a streak of light in the sky and reflected on the water. It falls down with incredible speed and disappears under the sea level, but Rob can still see it glowing for a while, before it peters out. If Rob had blinked, he would have missed that. He sits still for a moment, almost afraid to move, before jumping up and into the water. He stares at the sea so much, he can probably find whatever just fell into it! Rob isn’t the best swimmer, but excitement overtakes him as he quickly swims further and further into the sea, looking for the fallen object. Luckily for him, that object still seems to glow! It just sank too deep to still be noticeable. Rob dives down to retrieve the glowy thing, and when he comes back up, he can’t believe that he’s holding a star. A literal, star-shaped thing that glows brightly, just like the stars in the sky. It feels warm in his paws, and Rob happily brings it back to the shore. As he climbs out of the water, he doesn’t feel cold or wet at all, all he feels is the warm glow of the star. His own fallen star. |
