They always thought his interest in shapeshifting magicks and taking on the features of other beasts was a strange one. It seems that, somewhere along the way amidst his magical research and experimentation, Vith ran across something powerful and ancient. His form is now changed, twisted into something else. Onlookers think whatever his experiment was has gone horribly awry, but he seems quite happy with the results for the time being. He stands out as "the weird one" in the family, and the few times everyone gets together for a meeting or a meal he tends to stick out as the only non-guardian dragon with the long hair.

Patient to a fault, Vith also seems chill and easy-going to the point of laziness. It gives the impression that he's slow or the type that likes to hang out and party but he's quite an avid researcher, and as the most learned member of the family he can think with the best of them. He is just, in his own words, "energy efficient". This serves him well in his line of work, allowing him to steadily plod away at his latest projects for days at a time.

Most of his time is spent in the magitech labs working on biological spells and genomics. His specialties are research into the dragon genome and those spells which switch on dormant genes into expression. The most familiar form of these are the spells grafted into one-time use scrolls that change the color and patterns of dragons, the gene scrolls often going for obscene amounts of treasure whenever buying and trading occurs. Most of the clan's dragon-altering spells and scrolls conveniently come from his work in-house with the rest making them a tidy profit to fund the clan's war machine.
