Cacophony's egg was taken by a circle of ancient wasteland dryads. They had been stealing dragon eggs for aeons to raise dragons to protect their frail bodies. They were weaker than most of the creatures dwelling in the Scarred Wasteland. Their power came from the nature and the life of her plants, but in her influence couldn't make it to the land of Plague.

There were many dragons protecting the dryads and their temple, but Cacophony didn't speak much with them. He only focused on the task given to him at birth; his duty is to protect the temple and his old mentor Damask. Unfortunately, his duty was short-lived because a clan of Serthis attacked their temple, leaving nothing but destruction behind themselves.

They stole an important artefact from the temple and fled, leaving Cacophony and Damask as one of the only survivors. While the rest decided to stay behind to rebuild their temple, the gaoler decided to go after the Serthis and get back their artefact.

But the task turned harder than he thought. He had never wandered far out of his home and the wasteland was just so strange. Luckily, Damask had a backup plan. Together, they would join the Guild. They would help the Guild and the Guild would help them back.
