Biography
Fyrste
Secretive/Master of Disguise/Prideful
Quote: "I'm getting old. It's painful, but not detrimental."
Role: TOP DOG! Clan Defender and Magical Healer for dragons engaged in active duty
Position: General (25 Celestial Stars) 1st Ranking taking on the Golem Workshop
Mate: XXX, iSpy
Parents: Father - Mirror; Mother - Spiral (explains his love for iSpy)
Children: Nightbeak - Mirror
Fyrste, born across the Bay in the Wind flight, came to live in Arcane Territory, and was given specifically to the Celestial Star Keeper's clan. No one here remembers exactly who from or how this dragon was delivered up, but legend has taken over to say that it was the Arcanist himself who sent this fierce fighter. Of course, this gift turned out to be a providential event because he was quite helpful in the building up of the clan's defenses, for the clan's members were young and inexperienced in the ways of Sorneith.
Middle-aged when he came to Arcane, he harnessed his fighting skills natural to the Mirror breed. But after awhile he began to appreciate the knowledge seeking and magical qualities of the Arcane flight. Desiring to better his tactical warfare skills, he began to investigate the possibility of using magical abilities and changing his breed to better fight and protect his new clan. Unfortunately, this was very difficult as he would be losing much of his strength and size. But whoever said small is disadvantageous? Fyrste figured it would be worth the sacrifice. This clan needed a fighting mage.
He took the plunge. He endured the breed change. He angered more than a few, namely his mate and his daughter, but for different reasons. iSpy saw no use for mages in fighting (or so she thought, until she herself was injured beyond repair; which then Fyrste had to provided her with his magical aid to save her.) Grateful as she was, she was still a little miffed over the change.
His daughter, Nightbeak, became terribly frightened of the magic he used when... Well, let's just say, 'accidents happen.' She bitterly missed his Mirror form. He had no idea the chaos he created for her with his many trial and error attempts to hide himself during battle. iSpy got over her anger, but Nightbeak became bitter.
What both of them didn't know was what he was too ashamed to share; namely, that, as a Mirror, his strength was waning. He was prematurely aging. He was desperately attempting to find or make a regenerating elixir, but in the meantime, he never wanted his maleness or fighting ability questioned. After all, Mirror dragons, which the demenor of such, Fyrste has had a hard time shedding, are known for their savagery.
Over the months, he honed and developed magical powers as a result of the transformation and determined to use deception as a tactic against clan enemies as opposed to outright battle. At his age and with his diminishing physical capacity, this approach to warfare suited him well. Beneficially, he and his second in command can now train the clan in both magical and physical warfare.
Fyrste's mate, iSpy and his daughter, Nightbeak both joined him in battles and all have earned the highest ranking. Celestial Star Keeper's clan has lived in relative safety because of this exceptional fighting team; all except one from the Stowgen project.
