Topaz is a master storyteller. Her stories are fantastical and magical, sparking inspirational thoughts in even the most unmotivated of dragons. Her skill with a quill doesn't lack either. She weaves pictures out of words and complex, lifelike characters come to life with magical animations, learnt from her mother. Often, she sings songs on the spot whilst telling stories, making up lyrics as she goes to suit the stories. Her familiar serves as a secondary voice and a melody.

On another note, she has taken over naming hatchlings. Because whoo boy, you would not believe the names Stealth, Amethist, Featherflighted, and Verona come up with.

Naming

"Aww, she's so cute!" Amethist cooed as the hatchling stuck its navy-blue head out of the shell.

"Look at you, you're so adorable!" Erupted squee'd. As the hatchling tumbled out of the egg and Amethist started on her quest to use up all of parchment and ink in the world, Erupted and Seastroke started discussing names.

"Whiteared?" "No, that sounds strange." "What about Acrylia?" "Hmm... that sounds nice." As the two pondered over names, Topaze stuck her head in, along with everyone else (except Ninjette. She'd already snuck in and had started to coo over the baby.)

"So, what are you planning on naming her?" Topaze asked.

"Well, we were thinking Acrylia." Erupted muttered, still in thought.

"I'm sorry what? WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU WERE NAMING HER?" Topaz shouted, astonished.

"uhhh... Acr-"

"My god." Topaze picked the baby up from Ninjette and strolled over. "I refuse to let this beautiful baby girl suffer under an ugly name like Acrylia. Please reconsider."

Stealth piped up. "What about... Sharptounged?"

Topaze sighed. "Alright, from now on I'm taking over the baby naming because that is NOT how you name a child."
