"Don't worry, I don't have any feelings left to hurt."



-A spoiled rich kid from an influential and old family. He ran away from home for unknown reasons; sending the capital into a frenzied manhunt as they're under the impression that he was kidnapped.
-Refuses to give Lycus a straight reason for why he ran away; dodging and deflecting anytime he's asked. He doesn't seem to hate his family though, and even speaks of them fondly when drunk.
-His father is worried sick over his "kidnapped" son, despite the fact that in truth; it was the other way around.
-Has very dark humor. It makes some people uncomfortable; especially when he keeps the same tone and a straight face when saying it. You really can't tell if he was being serious or if he's just threatened your life...either way, once he's gotten enough of your reaction he'll tell you he was "just joking" and pat you on your back. It's beyond off-putting.
-The type that prefers to leave room for spontaneity in his plans. He likes having a loose structure of events then winging the rest of it. Because of this, him and Lux don't like being on the same team and tend to fight over their differences in planning when forced to work together. Still, they make a surprisingly good team when they actually manage to stop fighting.
-The type of person that will manipulate others into doing something for him even when just asking would have sufficed. Most people think it's because he hates being indebted to others - and that's partly true, but not the full reason.
Anyways, he's just really weird about it. He likes getting his way and successfully manipulating others with them none the wiser, but you get the feeling that he's disappointed by the result anyways.
-There's a surprising amount of self-hatred beneath that mask of lazy, self-assured confidence. Finds it secretly, darkly hilarious when people tell him that he's the person they hate most. Because, same my guy.
-Doesn't like drinking because he's a lightweight that gets very, very chatty when he's drunk. He hates being vulnerable, so he'd rather avoid it.
-If asked why he's the way he is...Calais wouldn't be able to answer it himself. It's not like he understands himself any better than anyone else.
-Earring has magic on it that makes people not recognize him.
-Owns a cat that's just named "Furball". Would literally kill everyone in the room then himself if anything happens to her. She's been making him feel better, but he'd rather die than admit that he's got a soft spot.
-Man's a hot mess of contradictions and longing, and he knows it.
-Hates apologizing with his words. The way he "apologizes" is leaving little gifts anonymously.
