Born into a prestigious family of chefs, Grotto is incredibly passionate about the wonderous dishes he produces. Having memorized and improved upon his family recipes and many others shared amongst the Colonnades of Antiquity, Grotto couldn't help from becoming bored. There's only so much he could work with/import to the Earth domain. Deciding to make a change with his life Grotto took up a rather interesting position he had found in a flyer. While the Travelling Festival Division could meet no where near his typical payment standards. They made up for it in well, travelling. Joining them seemed perfect, not only could he share his recipes with dragons of other regions, but hopefully they'd be willing to share theirs with him as well!
Colonnades of Antiquity
The workings of the Dragonhome Preservation Guild have drawn the merchants, buskers, researchers, and thespians of Sornieth, all eager to make their mark in the region. Springing up around the dig sites, the Colonnades of Antiquity represent the very best and very worst of a new golden age of archaeological discovery; each new find feeds the sprawling bazaars and shops now crammed fang-by-jowl among the ancient architecture.

Audra had and has been such a treat from the moment I met her. I truly didn't expect this group to have their very own Butcher. And what a wonderful one she is at that! I've never seen such delicate cuts in my life. Now don't get me wrong where she is incredible skillful with a knife, she unfortunately is lacking in the cooking department. It's actually the reason I was hired. Now thankfully she took no offense to this as she didn't want to prepare meals for everyone in the first place. Despite this she and I have grown quite close as she is very interested in learning my craft, especially anything to do with carved meats. My only hope is that I never run out of recipes so that she may keep returning to my kitchen.
The first few months I had been in this rag tag group I struggled tremendously with my ingredients. While I have a great understanding of what pairs well together, I was well... lacking in the where these ingredients might be. As I had originally thought the many herbs I use could be found anywhere outside my home domain along the road. Boy was I in for a surprise! Luckily I was introduced to the lucky dragon himself, Lucky! With his extraordinary nose he has not let me down yet. I need only give him a whiff of whichever empty jar I have and he sets off! I do so hope I can convince him to join me if he chooses to ever leave this life behind.

"From the moment I joined she in particular took the most interest in my cooking passion. Keenly and most importantly quietly she used to watch me prepare my sweets. Hex seemingly quite shy, I waited a few weeks before I decided to finally approach her. I am incredibly grateful I did, Hex has taught me countless of recipes! From her parents hailing from Arcane and her being the family's first generation of Wind she has an arsenal of recipes stuffed away in that head of hers. I've tried countless of times to change her mind of pursuing dance as I could use an excellent sous chef, yet to no luck. I can't completely blame her as she is also a formidable dancer".
