Strong, elegant, regal... Mypherius has what Vindan and the other prospective mates don't.
Nobody knows what exactly that is, but it's obvious he's got it. He's stolen Aerenai's heart, and word is, Vindan's status of being her mate is over. Or so he thought, until some new comer showed up, dressed in gaudy bows and shining like the same stars she was. Now Mypherius has joined the other former-mates in wondering what exactly dethroned them as kings.
Meanwhile, somewhere, Xalce is laughing at them all.
