Juniper grew up in the Viridian Labyrinth along the bank of a thin creek within The Gladeveins.
At a young age she realized she was not blessed with the most inspiring colors a fairy dragon could ask for, neither was there a single spot on her to be found. She always admired the other Faes with their beautiful starmaps which glistened in the moonlight, and those wonderful blends which seamlessly flowed from one gorgeous shade to the next. No, instead she was given a plain slate. Juniper never saw any advantage to this, especially considering how fond Faes are about communicating with their crests. She thought why anydragon would even bother to talk to her with such a dull presence.
While playing by the water's edge one evening on some lily pads, Juniper noticed that her wings could reflect the refracting light coming off the waters surface from the sunset. It was from that day forward that she began life on the creek, never wanting to go to her old dim appearance. However, as Juniper got older she got a bit more adventurous. Having the desire to travel set deep in her heart, she grabbed whatever belongings she could and headed off to follow the flow of the running water. Juniper flew all over Sornieth, or so it felt, and after following as much of the creek she could, came out to the sea which surrounded the main isle. The amount of water though! She could hardly hold her excitement! Juniper kept close to the shore, but closer to the water, just hovering above the rippling tides and the thrill of following a wave until it crashed. The water droplets decorated Junipers cyan wings like crystals and each one caught the tiniest bit of light making them shine! As she flew further down the coast, she fluttered and flipped with glee above the water. Her drabness was taking a turn!
