Biography
WuGui, the Mage
Rebel Good
Frys Clan / Shan-dian Mages
WuGui reminds a lot of dragons of his mother. Both are inquisitive, possessing a rebellious streak, but are nonetheless reliable and honorable individuals. He has never been one to play by the rules for its own sake, as he persistently questions authority and keeps leading figures on their toes.
He'd much rather abide by his very own moral code, and do good things on a case-by-case basis. There are no universal rules, after all.
Early into his young adult life, he traveled to join the Shan-dian mages. He aspired to join their ranks; not just to harness powerful magic, but to find camaraderie with like-minded individuals. His investigative nature was accepted there, as the mages' hierarchy was never absolute. Anyone could challenge those in positions of power at almost any point in time.
That, and the fact that pranking was a common pastime in the mages' lives.
While he certainly loves a good bit of mischief, he is surprisingly responsible and knows how to pull himself together when others need him. He's a wonderful adoptive father to many dragons and hatchlings, who all call him 'Baba'. That's also the only word that can be heard from his quarters when a new shipment of candied root arrives. It gets quite loud at times.
WuGui loves to fly dangerously close to lightning on a stormy night, alongside his closest companions from the Shan-dian. He loves to snack on sweet treats, with candied root and glazed rhubarb being his absolute favorites.
