Biography

Named after Hrímnir, a jötunn with several possible lores and a couple different meanings to his name. The name could mean "The one covered in Hoarfrost" or "The sooty one"

His name appears in several sagas. In the poem "Hyndluljóð," he's mentioned to be the father of Heiðr and Hrossþjófr but that could just be for the sake of alliteration (verse 32). In the poem "Skírnismál," he's said to be just a typical giant (verse 28).
