Amethyst Spire Mage
| Warm | Assuring | Conscientious |
Sharda is a piece of the ever mysterious Spire, looked after by a Guardian in the Driftwood Shore Clan. She came to Clan Quills as both emissary and student. Here she practices magic the likes of which few have likely seen before. Some dragons have held a certain duality of elements, usually being born from two differing parents, or in a different elemental nest, but the sheer amount of both water and shadow magic Sharda contains is beyond measure. Despite her powerful position, she is always delicate with both her practices and her fellow mages and alchemists. She clearly has no desire to maim, injure, or overthrow the current hierarchy, but her thirst for knowledge is as limitless as her magical wellsprings. She identifies most strongly with the other constructs of the clan, Quillian, Didymium, and the newest creation, Muscii. Dragon shaped, and some with dragon heritage, but not altogether dragons in and of themselves. When not studying with the other members of the Amethyst Spire, she is often found speaking with other dragons in the clan. Constructs of any sort are no longer uncommon in the area, and few feel any sort of discomfort around them in general. In addition, Sharda seems to radiate a sense of calm from her that greatly improves moods and allows a sense of ease that fosters trust and encourages conversation. Many a dragon speaks plainly and without fear to Sharda. Solanum, the leader of the Sapphire Searchers, is one of the only dragons that actively avoids her, despite encouragement from Kimsworth, the clan doctor/surgeon/therapist. Her natural aura is what allows her to get what appears to be "sustenance" for lack of a better word. She thrives on knowledge, but personal information seems to last longer, or "taste better" perhaps. Stories of old, details from hatchling days nearly forgotten, things that have never been shared with another soul, these are the things she truly prizes. Though on the surface she seems like a demon, feasting on the memories of others, no harm has ever befallen dragons that have shared with her, no loss of memory or energy, no physical or mental changes. She never reveals the stories she's been given either, quiet and clandestine, she would never betray a fellow clanmate. |
