A beautiful and frightening woman who lives in a mansion deep within the jungles of Nature territory.

Lady Minerva is a woman of many talents:
Her most profitable one is spellcrafting: she's written and published books on magical theory and practice. But her passion lies in less-appreciated hobbies.

She has a large solarium devoted to raising lepidoptera from all over Sornieth, and an even larger room devoted to her most favoured specimens carefully pinned and labeled in wall-sized frames.

In the basement, she keeps a pool-sized chest full of beetles, and acid baths waiting at the ready for the next animal she finds worthy enough to immortalize forever as an articulated skeleton.

Occasionally, she does taxidermy as well. But she prefers to hire temporary help for that.

She shows little in the way of affections; austere to the point of seeming emotionless even compared to her fey husband.

It's hard to say what brought them together - perhaps her detachedness was perfectly suited to him - or perhaps her extreme beauty was all that mattered to him.
Whatever it was, it seemed to work for them. The two have been together for more decades than are easily counted.
