Geist was once alive, just like everyone else, but he can't remember anything from when he was. The only reason he knows he was alive once is because people keep talking about a hero that had gone to war with a three-headed Emperor for seven days. The story goes that a young Emperor had formed and had begun terrorizing towns and villages in the Northeast, and the hero, Raksha they called him, went to face off against the beast. He failed and barely lived through the beast's destructive path. He then went into hiding because his pride had been damaged. He came back out of hiding nearly fifteen years later and said that he had spent most of that time learning from an old Imperial that had slain his Emperor sister when she died of disease. He then went back after the Emperor, his faith in himself and his faith in his elemental deity restored, and fought the amalgamation for a week with strength being provided from his deity. He won, and died a valiant death shortly after.

Geist isn't actually sure if it was him, but he has odd sort of flashbacks whenever he looks at an Imperial. But as far as he knows, he's been a ghost his entire life. He finally found a clan that let him dwell in peace, so now he just floats around wondering what happened when/if he was alive.

A translucent Wildclaw asks the Spiral flitting along beside him. "Very sure, you are exactly what dragons [i]want[/i] to see around Halloween! Now c'mon, I think I see our first house!" The Spiral replies. Making sure to watch for the tell-tale jack-o-lanterns that show if a clan is accepting trick-or-treaters, the two make their way up to the front of the house. Before the Spiral has the chance to knock, the Wildclaw gets too frightened and disappears, his black wrappings dropping to the ground. "Geist? Where'd you go buddy?" The Spiral looks around for her friend. "I-I can't d-do it! I'm too s-scared!" The Wildclaw's voice whispers from nowhere. "Yes you can! You can do this! Listen, if you get a bad reaction from this house, we'll both head back home and I'll try to convince Crypt to come with me instead." The Spiral says. Not hearing a response she continues, "What if I give you some of the candy I get? I'm not quite sure how you'll eat it, but I'm trying to make a deal!" She sits in silence before Geist's voice whispers again, "Alright. I-I'll try." He answers. And as he slowly rises from the ground, carefully putting his wrappings back on, Xenia knocks on the door and yells: "Trick or Treat!"
