Despite the ethereal origins of his parents, alchemic beings shaped from the elements of fluid and stone, Wohl has done well enough on his own by growing up among dragonkind. He doesn't think of himself as being any different from the norm despite standing out like a sore claw. The clan even nicknamed him The Golden Boy due to his metallic, golden hide, which shimmers in the sun as if touched by Midas.

Wohl is a knowledge seeker. He believes in the unbiased truth and natural laws of the universe above all else. His mind is scientific by nature, and he can easily solves problems that might stunt other dragons. Whenever there's a difficult situation with seemingly no solution, usually getting Wohl's help will take care of it.

Wohl has mild anxiety. He's high-strung and can't ever seem to calm himself down, unless he is hyper-focusing on his alchemy. Just about anything will make him nervous, and he doesn't work well under pressure. After a while, his nervousness will build up and just explode. He actually feels better after these neurotic episodes, even if he gets teased for being a crybaby- a great golden crybaby.

He often wants to help but usually makes things worse.

Abra the Phoenix

It is said that a phoenix comes to those of exceptional alchemical prowess. Wohl doesn't think that's a true statement, though. It seems more like a myth than a truth, and he's not even wholly convinced that Abra is even a phoenix to begin with, despite the glaringly obvious.

Still, this bird seems to have adopted him, and Wohl is all too eager to have a steadfast companion in this big and lonely world.

Biography

Like all of his siblings, Wohl was raised by the philosophy of alchemy and became a master chemist through his studies. Though the work of his transcendental parents aimed to create a panacea for Chofiniel's beloved, Wohl held no such interest in their pursuit. Instead, he spent his adolescence researching the shade that grappled the Hewn City, eager to uncover the truth of the world and the nature of all Sornieth.

Wohl's alchemy research is entirely confidential, and with good reason. He's created a formula that, when threaded with his inherit light magic, will create beams of sunlight. These photons take on a fluid form when idle, which he stores inside his capsule underbelly. He calls it "Liquid Sunshine".

Wohl originally created this alchemic formula in order to combat the shade, but found it to be too dangerous to make public. Through various studies, he found that he could manipulate the intensity of the light in such a severe way that it could burn through just about anything. Experiencing firsthand the horrors of his Great Works, he vowed to only pass down his Liquid Sunshine to his descendants.

Wohl would never openly admit just how disappointed he is that his firstborn son has no interest in alchemy. Even so, he loves Loam with all his heart, and encourages him to follow his own dreams.
