Marax
It was not until Marax was born that anyone in the clan was truly sure that Mortanius intended to make himself a proper part of the Lucanidae Clan. Between the large intellect of Meridia, Moloch's studies of the Heart of Viridia and the Right & Left Hemispheres of the Janus - Mortanius had found that there was simply so much to learn and develop amongst these dragons that his pilgrimage for new magical technologies could come to an end here - in truth, Marax's father did intend to one day end his time here and return home to the Tempest Spire to regale all that he had come across in the hopes of being heralded a worthy scholar of magic - perhaps even a hero.
Marax has always been much less concerned with magical technologies - having been born in the twilight of the Shrieking Wilds, his temperament is much more in step with the rest of the clan. He has fallen in love with the idea of the charge of the Guardian and looks up to Balthazar as a role model. He is incredibly strong, training daily - he hopes that one day this strength will provide him with all that he needs to protect a charge of his own.
