A gaoler sentry who guards the perimeters of the Outpost. He looks more imposing than he actually is. Farran takes his job very seriously and can often be seen trailing suspicious scents throughout the Outpost's terrain. He tends to lose himself in his work and may blunder straight through a market stall when he's on the hunt for something.
Although his strength and size can't be denied, Farran is easy to mislead when he can't rely on his nose. It's clear that he hasn't spend much time with other dragons and he'll buy just about anything anyone tells him.
Because the Outpost is an informal place with no clear rulers or hierarchy it has no justice system. If a dragon misbehaves or causes harm the community comes together to decide what to do about it. Nevertheless, Farran has claimed an empty room of the crumbling ruins where most of the dragons roost as his 'dungeon'. It's always empty, but he insists that it will be of use if they're ever under threat of the Shade or of creatures that have been corrupted by it. Whenever her bar gets too rowdy, Serra will threaten to have Farran toss unruly drunkards in there.
