Backstory
When she was young, she traveled with Emily, her younger friend, to explore the forests and caves that were near their city. Unbeknownst to them, a freshly corrupted Zorea was stalking them. The three of them entered this particular cave. The cave was engraved with ancient runes from an old language that the two hatchlings could not read. Zorea, who was much older than the two of them could have read it, but her mind was destroyed by the corruption so her only focus was her bloodlust.
In the center of the cave. there was this cavern filled with these massive glowing gems. The inscribed runes in the walls glowed with the same light the crystals did. Both Yin and Emily were in awe. Emily, the more curious and impulsive of the two, touched one of the crystals. Which activated an eldritch spell called 'Soul Prison'. In Emily's inexperience with magic, let alone any spells of this caliber, she opened her own soul to be the prison. Since she had no clue what the spell was, nor that it even existed. The spell created a strong vortex that swallowed both Zorea and Yin. Whom upon entering Emily's soul was knocked unconscious. Yin didn't have any consciousness until 2,000 years had passed. Zorea gained consciousness earlier than her. All power was drained from them because of the spell. Emily, who was now 5,000 years old, was terrified of the voices she heard in her head. Yin, who was 9,000 years old semi-realized what had happened. She could see through her friend's eyes if she chooses or wanders through Emily's mind. Here she met Zorea. Once known Goddess of maternal love, corrupted and vicious. Zorea was causing all sorts of problems for Emily, trying to break her to try and find a way to escape a toddler's body. The mental strain was too much on Emily, so she receded into subconsciousness. Yin realized Zorea would try and take control of the body, so she butted in instead. While Emily was worn down, Yin was full of energy. She managed to subdue Zorea in the mindscape somehow. After the ordeal was over, Yin realized she didn't remember much of anything before the moment in the cave. Everything was unfamiliar. She tracked down a library and started researching what the hell happened. She learns about the spell, it was used to imprison chaotic beings, that had god-like power, in gods' souls. Gods who had the training to deal with the mental strain of the demons/monsters imprisoned in them. Yin was aware that Emily did not have any of this training, nor awareness of the spell. She went on to research the cons of the spell, or any recorded failures. What she found was troubling: weak gods' minds collapsing, a demon overpowering and going on murder sprees or the soul of a god being destroyed permanently. She looked for the counterspell, or any possible way to undo the spell, or open the prison.

She has no family that she can remember.

Personality/Behavior
Yin is very reckless and brash. She also has a cool head most of the time. Having a quick wit to help herself out in bad situations. Her personality is a jumbled mess, starting from the reason at the beginning of time she did represent Yin but in an epic battle between her and Yang, they collided and their elemental representations switched, causing him to represent Yin and her, Yang. That messed up both of their personalities, causing some traits to switch between them. That also changed the medallions they carried. She now carries the Medallion of Time and him, The Medallion of Space. Her medallion grants her the ability to transverse anywhere in time, to a specific place she had in mind. His medallion grants him to travel anywhere in space, with a specific time in mind.
