Good. Most in this clan cannot. But, at least you can.

You see, my name is Incanter, and I am quite different from the other magic weavers here. I see the astral forms of all my clan mates rather than their physical bodies. Most pass me by, blind as though I wasn’t standing here at all, but there are a few who understand my powers and why I am here. In my clan, my title or role is a Soul Specter. I see the ethereal plane as my own reality, and as a consequence my own ravenous hunger for more energy feeds off the mystical energy of others. I avoid detection by lesser magicians, for I prefer to feed off of the energy from the expert mages.

_____For those who do accidentally catch a glimpse of me, I wipe their memory. I do not mean any harm! But I have been instructed to collect the excess magic that is slowly overflowing in this clan. Hatchlings here are being born with tremendous power far more than they can possibly control. Rumors of houses merging have circulated, which could shift the balance of power throughout our clan, and possibly those of our allies…And it is for these very reasons I must absorb the excess energy for the good of Thunder-Arrow, other clans, and…other flights.
