B I O G R A P H Y
Queva is the jeweler of the clan. Although they don’t have much need for money- as they’re located much further from other clans- Queva makes enough to support all of them. Her apprentice, Iris, spends most of her days scavenging for raw materials. She brings back strips of silver, copper circuity and metals gilded in gold. Along with rare metals, Iris also brings heaps of tangled scrap, which Queva repurposes into bangles, chains, and clasps. As some of these metals have been rusting for years- even centuries- an overnight soak in a special chemical mix by the clan’s resident scientist is used to clean off debris and restore shine. Queva’s claws are quick and deft, sharp enough for her to slice clean lines through metal and fashion new treasures.

Every six months, Queva and Iris make the trip south to the bi-annual jewelry fest, where dragons from across Sorienth come to proudly display and sell their wares. Iris refuses to sit with Queva in her booth, waiting for customers. Instead she wanders the market and returns at the end of the day from her mysterious antics. By the end of the week, Queva’s jewelry is long gone and the two of them have sacks of gold instead. Queva says she doesn’t do it for the money, that the joy is found in other dragons enjoying her art. Iris definitely does it for the money. She’s pretty secretive with her purchases, and no one is sure where she spends it, but every six months when the fest comes around she’s broke again. Nevertheless, Iris and Queva make a great team, and great jewelry.
