Caedo grew up in the Ice Fields along with his friends and family as an admired and often praised merchant. He was rich and others often fell jealous to his lavish lifestyle and luxurious hoard. That is, until one day he adventured off in hopes to find a hidden vein of platinum ore beneath that was rumoured about among the lairs. After days and days of searching and digging, he stumbled across a crevice. Inside the crevice was a deep layer of ice, and beneath its clear coat was the twinkling ore, teasingly just inches away from his grasp. Greedily, Caedo dug for it but unbeknownst to him, once his claw stuck the last of the ice he released a dormant disease, one that was asleep for years, imprisoned beneath its frozen cell. As Caedo trekked back he found himself getting sick over the week. His feather's dropped and his skin began to dry. His friends and family, horrified of what was happening, exiled him far away forcing him to leave all his riches behind. Angry and bitter, Caedo wandered the lands, an outcast to everyone. His anger soon turned to fury at the thought of sweet revenge on those who had casted him out. When Mortem and Pestilence found him, he pled for his life and shelter in exchange for gold. The couple, desperate for gold, agree and Caedo led the Foulbrood back to his family where they slaughtered them mercilessly. Now Caedo waits patiently for the right moment to turn on Pestilence in order to take his place as the lair's Patriarch, and then take out Mortem so he can crown himself king.
