Gwendolyn is considered to be one of the primary mother figures in the clan. She has six children of her own and also helps to care for the other hatchlings as well. She periodically sends care packages to her daughter Ophelia, who lives in Randomfanfomging’s clan. She’s hoping to make a visit sometime soon, and looks forward to her daughter’s visits. She is fond of Hades, Ophelia’s mate, and is very happy that the two found each other. Gwendolyn is an absolute sweetheart and gets along with everyone in the clan. She fosters a close friendship with the tundra Theodosia, and many of Theodosia’s children consider her to be a second mother of sorts.

Gwendolyn didn’t have very much luck in love. Her first mate, a guardian named Violetstars, was an emotionally absent dragon, and he had little patience for her. Together they had three children and then split. Violetstars has taken to hibernation, in an effort to avoid his former mate. Gwendolyn’s current mate is a snapper named Caradoc. He joined from another clan and was immediately besotted with her. He has always taken great care to treat Gwendolyn as well as she treats the rest of the clan. The two have had three children together and are looking forward to growing old together. Recently she became the mother-in-law of Winterfell, a mirror who is excitedly expecting a nest with Gwendolyn’s son, Meurig.
