______ Seraphine is a Nocturne that has always been fascinated by the stars. As a hatchling, she would often wander around at night, wondering what the lights twinkling in the sky were. Ostracized by other Nocturnes for her whimsical curiosity, Seraphine found herself wandering further and further away from the Tangled Wood. Along her journeys, wandering merchants commented on the bright pink hues of her scales. Whispers among them mentioned the Arcanist and his glorious Observatory in the Starfall Isles. Seraphine made up her mind; she was going to find this Arcanist and learn about the stars.

______ Her journey through the Scarred Wasteland was perilous, but after several weeks Seraphine found herself on the other side. Magical auras whirled through the air; she had found the Isles. And up ahead lay the Focal Point, upon which the Observatory sat. It was nearing dark, however, and Seraphine made herself a nest hidden in the brush. As she slept, the magical auras seeped into her scales. They now shone and sparkled as the stars do.

______ Seeing her new appearance, Seraphine was shocked. She now had the light of the stars covering every inch of her, and new runic lines appeared along her sides. Seraphine had found her place; she truly belonged in the Starfall Isles.

______ Now, Seraphine studies the stars with other venerable Arcane dragons in the Observatory, alongside her faithful mate, Aureon.
