Born of Tusepi and Sprite, Arukeni has the audacity of her father and the general silliness of her mother, being a surprising optimist for a mirror. She sobered a great deal after having her first clutch, and by the time her oddly-formed daughter Satine was born, she had evolved into a graceful mother hen. She once believed Satine's feathers were ugly and tried to pluck them off of her, but her efforts did little more than train her daughter to be more agile and persistent than any in the lair. Now that her feathery daughter is the alpha of the clan, she can no longer attempt to pluck those snowy white feathers from her... She can fuss from a distance, though, and fuss she does. She is a very kind and caring mirror, even though she has her moments of being silly and impetuous. Despite it all, she manages to carry herself with the class and dignity any proud mother has.

Loyal to her is a hydra scorpion she has come to call Biggs. He is exceedingly large for an insect and has somehow nailed the gift of speech... Even though he really has nothing intelligent to say. His gruff voice is at the very least entertaining as he tries to order other, smaller insects around... To his credit, he is very intimidating when he tries. He will fight when he must, but he usually tends to avoid altercations if he can. More entertaining moments can be seen between him and Cyclone's familiar, as the massive insect tries to order the bird around.
