Biography
(was named bella)
Bella's parents bid her a fond farewell as she took off into the sky above the Tangled Wood. She would see her dreams become reality, she just knew it: she would join the ranks of the Jetwings, the most skilled and graceful formation-flight team in the world.
Her peers had always taunted her, saying that her aspirations to fly off to the Shifting Expanse meant that she was supposed to have been born an Arcane dragon. Her dreams were ridiculous, they said, and she became their main target for mean-spirited pranks throughout her schooling. She would prove them wrong! She would join the Jetwings and earn the respect she had always wanted!
With the dreams dancing in her eyes clouding her vision, she flew headfirst into a storm above the Shifting Expanse and veered off course. Blown by gusts of wind and dodging bolts of lightning, she struggled to determine which way was up and which was down. Her wings beat against the wild currents as she dove, desperate to escape the sky's fury.
She dove so fast that she hit the water off the coast of the Ashfall Waste before she could even see what was ahead of her. The force of her dive knocked her out cold. When she awoke, she was in a frigid, unfamiliar landscape that could only be the Frigid Floes. Her whole body ached, from the end of her snout to the tip of her tail. All hope was lost.
But then, in the distance, she saw a pillar of smoke rising up into the air. She dragged herself up, waterlogged and freezing, and painfully made her way to what had to be a den. Sure enough, she found that the source of the smoke was a small lair. Through chattering fangs, she explained her situation, and the two founders of the lair, Eroniks and Bessaren, welcomed her to stay as long as she needed to. She plans to move on as soon as some broken bones heal up, but to where?
