Semillon, The Thaumic Tinkerker

"Electric desires had unraveled all my wires..."
.......Semillon's family is... well-known, one could say. Not for any good reason, of course - they are simply extremely rich, and also extremely cursed. Specifically, cursed so that every member of the family will meet some horrendous fate.
.......Semillon was always a tinkerer at heart - loved messing with machines and mechanisms despite his refined background. He made several amazing machines, and disassembled many more. One day, he was working inside of one of his machines, and well... He was never told about the curse placed on his family. He built this machine, and caution must have slipped his mind.
.......When Semillon's brother, Merlot, discovered the fate that had befallen him, there was a moment of panic. Eventually, Merlot removed his body from the machine, and figured he'd try to resurrect him. And... It worked! Mostly. Sometimes, though, mostly is enough.
.......Semillon stood up, looked at the viscera and couple of detached limbs surrounding him, looked up towards Merlot, and asked, "... What happened here?"
.......Merlot, anxious, stammered out, "W-well, um - your machine, uh- and I thought I-"
.......Semillon glanced towards the maintenance panel of his machine, and figured out what had just happened. "Ah," he said, "That's unfortunate."
......."... You're awful calm about this, Sem."
.......Semillon cocked his head to the side, confused why Merlot had pointed that out. "You already told me you were a necromanc-"
......."No, the whole you dying thing."
......."Oh, that part? I mean, it was bound to happen eventually. I'm more concerned about the uh, the limbs," he said, gesturing towards the detached tail and arm next to him.
......."Ah, w-well-"
......."You know what, I can fix this. Hand me my tools."
