Cayce was a rather strange hatchling. His loud and booming voice scaring most of the other hatchlings. He found himself rather lonely, and he spent most of his time alone... But then they appeared before him. A brilliant pixie with the most charming voice. They eased his suffering, and sometimes would lull him to sleep.

They grew close, but something grew amiss. He was starting to lose time. He would awake with no recollection of what had occurred that day. His mind started to grow foggy. His brilliant eyes seemed to dim. His booming voice grew soft. All he could hear was the pixies song. It consumed him from the inside out. Runes emerged against his skin, and others warily watched him deteriorate.

Some days he awoke with blood on his scales. The pixie always assured him that it was nothing, so he washed it away and continued on. His days nothing but a daze.
