 BIOGRAPHY XXXTryphlora grew up in a Coatl Clan in the Ashfall Waste with her best friend, Neotheo. The two were super close while they were growing up. A few months before Phlora was going to be considered fully grown in the eyes of the Clan, she realized that her feathers were losing their color. She hid away and refused to see anyone. In just a few days, her entire plumage had gone from bright orange to the palest white. She cried the morning she woke up and realized all of her color was gone. XXXThat same day, the clan leader called for Tryphlora. Someone had seen her color transformation and reported it. She tried to keep her head high as she entered the leader's quarters. Several dragons were waiting for her, and there was a collective gasp that made Phlora visibly cringe. The frantic whispering that followed made her heart and stomach drop. She knew the stories. When a Coatl's colors faded, it was a bad omen. Her worst fears were realized when the leader told her she was immediately banished from the clan, and if she were ever seen again they would not hesitate to kill her. XXXWithout saying goodbye to anyone, not even Neotheo, Phlora fled. She traveled Sornieth in search of a Clan that would accept a bad omen like her. To her utter surprise, a few years later, she stumbled upon the territory of the Calyx Coven and discovered that her dearest friend, Neotheo, was living there! When Neotheo saw her, he was so shocked he fainted. The other Coven members realized that this new Coatl must be the very one that their friend Neotheo had been looking for, and they welcomed her with open arms. XXXIt wasn't long before Neotheo and Tryphlora became mates. All of that time apart had made their hearts grow fonder. Today, Phlora is a Merchant with her own booth in the Coven Square. She accumulated a lot of trinkets during her years of travel, and she now sells them in her booth. Occasionally she'll barter with visitors to replenish her stock. XXXOnyx is Phlora's Silvermane Barbtail Familiar. She met the sphinx-like creature during her journey across Sornieth. The two of them were fishing in the same river, trying to catch fish. When the Barbtail realized that Phlora was having trouble catching any fish, she taught the dragon how to make sure her shadow didn't fall over the water. Soon, Phlora was a fish catching expert, and the two were steadfast friends from then on. |
