Nala has always had a penchant for wanderlust. Over time she started bringing back souvenirs and then one day she went to Sarval and said that she thought that it would be much easier for them to get the supplies that the clan needs if she took the rare materials that the clan harvested and traded them for treasure and then went to buy supplies, instead of having to find a clan that was willing to barter which was always difficult. Sarval went with Nala on her first trip, and after seeing how sucessful it was had a airship commisioned for Nala's new venture.

Recently while on a trading mission to the Southern Icefield Nala met Glacier, the pair became fast friends almost instantly.
