Brylen is the only dragon in the SunShadow Colony who had to join against their will. He was born into a colony which ran on a monarch-type system, where all of the dragons had to serve under the current king unless the heir took the king's place or the king was killed. Brylen and his colony invaded the SunShadow Colony one day in hopes of stealing their resources. They were also lacking in female dragons and intended to steal some of their own. London successfully led the clan into battle against them, unknowingly killing the king in the process. The majority of the surviving warriors from Brylen's clan fled into the Tangled wood, but Brylen remained. The king did not have an heir, so he recognized that London (the king-killer) was technically his new king. So, he now resides with the other members of the SunShadow Colony and does his best to show his loyalty to London, though the wildclaw often refuses it. Brylen still serves as a warrior, but he enjoys collecting insects the most in his spare-time. He has quite a way with words, and the ladies, but for whatever reason hasn't chosen a mate yet.
