Bio: When Runes set out on her Search, she was a little skeptical. She, as many of the younger Guardian generations, were becoming irritated with the rigid traditions of her kind. She had never wanted to leave. Sure, she liked her solitude, but she also truly enjoyed others company. She loved her mother and father and her friends. But, when she had aged up, they had given her the standard ceremony and sent her off. She was to find something to protect. But, they never told her how she would know what to protect. For a few weeks, she wandering through the wintery days, feeling foolish. But, as soon as she came close to her new clan, she felt it. It was a strong pull, one she couldn't ignore. She had found who she should protect. And only one thing rang through her head, over and over: Seaweed.
Now that she had found her charge, Runes joined the clan. Because of her size and endurance, they made her a scout. She would fly out each day to look for dangers and, sometimes, scavenge and dig. It was a good job for her because it provided her with the solitude she enjoyed.

Social: Naturally, Runes feels very protective of Seaweed. She wants him to succeed and hates when she sees him roll over or give you something that's important to him. Runes is easy going, but if anyone threatens Seaweed, she is will go into a rage that is very uncharacteristic. It deeply embarrasses Seaweed but, often, it also helps him. She also enjoys chatting with Galaxy and thinks of her as a good friend, even if she's a bit of a hippie.

Familiar: Knight
Name Meaning: A man who served a lord as a mounted soldier in armor.
Personality: Knight is, as his name would suggest, very protective. This makes him almost too much like Runes who is a Guardian dragon. Knight and Runes have a habit to argue about their duties and responsibilities far too often. Knight likes to think of himself as someone who takes the high road and is very tuned into ethics.
