If someone asked Feldspar his raison d'être, he would say "to make the world a more beautiful place" -or at least make a contribution. While he works mostly in jewelry and other decorative objects, his design philosophy is anything but superficial. He believes that well-made, well-designed artifacts enlighten the soul. The fact that he finds the sometimes-dangerous nature metalwork to be thrilling, he would tell you, is a coincidence... and then he would show you some of his more impressive scars. Feldspar is lucky in that his gembond helps protect his claws from burns, but is not so advanced as to impede his dexterity.

Feldspar and his mate, Koucou, share a workshop. Quarters are a little cramped, but the two seem to work around each other so well that they might as well be one dragon. As a couple, they have something of a shared paternal streak, mentoring and advising younger clanmembers-- especially those who want to pursue metalwork or other artisan crafts.
