Gwin is the hatchling caretaker of the main territory, and although her mannerisms could be considered threatening and intimidating in almost every aspect, she's not terribly bad at her job. Instead, it appears that she's simply unaware of her threatening nature. Gwin seldom shows emotions, and mostly uses her actions to show affection, such as preparing stew for the dragonets, reading them stories, or trying to play with them. ...The keyword is trying. It doesn't appear that she understands games at all.

The hatchlings love her, and have a tendency to follow behind her like ducklings, or crawl on her like spiders. She allows this to happen, so if in a conversation with her, it's not unusual to see the dragonets eavesdropping. On rare occasions, you can see them napping in the fields, the dragonets sleeping on top of her. ...This could be considered a safety hazard, considering her large size.
