Biography

naturev2.png Moriana
The Chef, Firestarter
???

Moriana, for what it's worth, loves to cook. From when she was very young, she always enjoyed helping her mother prepare food, though of course as a Hatchling she was never truly allowed to use any of the tools.

It turns out that even as an adult, there is still a very real reason to not allow her near most knives, or heaven forbid the fire pits!

She absolutely loves to cook, and it was nearly a match made in heaven when she met and fell for her dear Ruell, hard. However, she is originally from the Flamecaller's domain...And seems to have a very strong affinity to her born element. To the point that she doesn't have the best control of it at times.
Ruell, among most other Clan members, learned very early on to try and avoid ever letting her actually cook anything. She is allowed to prep and bring out food; she is allowed to make dishes that DON'T involve any form of cooking, and she is...Tentatively, allowed to make soup. She happily does all these things, but she is not ever allowed to touch the cooking pits, or the stone stove; the crowning jewel of the Clan's kitchen!
Moriana simply can't avoid somehow setting something on fire when she's working with flames. The cooking pits had erupted into angry fireballs many of the times the Coatl was allowed to use them early on, and after a nearly disastrous explosion with the stove, it was unanimously decided that Moriana is not allowed to physically cook anything. Or even go near them.
It's not as bad with soup; she doesn't really set that on fire...She has burned and charred it sometimes, though. Even the oldest Clan Members can't quite make sense of that. Honestly; who actually manages to burn soup?!

Regardless of her...Misshapen talents, Moriana is still a beloved Clan Member, and still a Chef. She is quite proud to bring out dishes she makes herself!
To this day, she does experiment to see just what she can get away with. The Coatl certainly loves to cook! She simply can't stop herself from pushing her luck...To the anxious disdain of her poor mate~
