Biography

He hadn’t been alive for very long, but the glimmering dragon felt angry and confused that his parents had sent him to a strange place! He liked his mousey toys and his playmates, and his parents! Why did he have to leave?!

The elder dragons were hard pressed to approach the youngling, as he hissed and scratched at anyone who came near him. Several small Fae dragons hid in the trees as the larger coatl raged in the middle of their lair. The older dragons that attempted to greet him stood back, and shook their heads at his attitude. Rhauvi didn’t care. He didn’t want to be here, he didn’t want to get to know anyone-

Suddenly the ground shook, and the young male saw an Imperial dragon- wearing bells and feathers- somersault past him to leap to his feet. He spread his wings and fore claws in a ‘ta-daaa’ pose as giggles began around them. A moment later, a pocket mouse rolled past in the same manner. The sight was so ridiculous, Rhauvi had to laugh.

Jester looked over his shoulder with a toothy grin. Finally. That was a much better expression for a young dragon to have!

“There you go! You’re here to have FUN, and enjoy your new friends and family! Trust me, it’ll be a lot nicer than staying mad for being sent somewhere with more friends and good hunting!”

Rhauvi blinked at the silly looking dragon, not expecting such a rational explanation from him. Huh… more friends, and good hunting? Maybe his parents didn’t send him away to be mean? The younger dragon settled down, and looked thoughtful. It was certainly less exhausting, if he wasn’t trying to drive everyone away. He did love his parents, and it felt much better to think that they’d done this for him, rather than to him.

“What fun things do you do, here?” His changed expression made the young coatl look much younger, and the dragons around them relaxed. A much younger hatchling tumbled forward in a more awkward somersault, her gold hide shining in the sunlight. She landed on her nose, but it didn’t stop her from jumping up, and handing the older youngster a large moth.

“Weaf!” Rhauvi laughed loudly, as Jester patted Maunche fondly. If the rest of his new clan mates were this funny, he really would like it here!

Exalting Rhauvi to the service of the Gladekeeper will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
