Biography
The King
Ah, wretched Diodorus. Out of all the dragons within this clan, he is the only one who you could consider truly evil. When he was born, the soothsayer of the clan took one look at him and jumped back. She said that the grey colour of his circuits foretold his own character - once a creature of the light, destined to slowly head down a darker path. Everyone brushed the words of the soothsayer off... all except the patriarch of the clan, who feared for his people if such a dragon came into rule.
The first son of a great clan leader, he had no hardship for much of his life and grew up happy and strong. He was a bit crueller than hatchlings his age, and became more troubling as he grew older. By the time he had come of age, he was known for his method of solving problems with brute force. Despite this, his issues did not begin until he was much older, when his parents had a new hatchling. Happy and with circuits as white as snow, marking him as a born leader with a just heart, he was heralded as the next leader of the clan - much to the dismay of Diodorus. Believing that the colour of his circuits were the only reason why he had been denied future rulership of the clan, he sought to take his rightful place by 'removing' the one who took it.
In the dead of night, Diodorus snuck into the hatchlings den. He crept to the edge of his nest, and struck with sharpened claws... but came up empty, and surrounded by guards. The hatchling had been taken far away the night before, and Diodorus was kept in the darkest den to be guarded at all times until his fate was to be decided. To avoid the scandal of exiling their own son, the leaders of the clan arranged him to be mated off with a dragon known as Eudoxia, a female ridgeback who was also not born quite right. With no choice but to accept, Diodorus was shipped off to clan Darkscale to live with his new mate until his wings fell off.
Shortly after arriving, Diodorus was joined by another Plague dragon, Melaniva. Smitten by her surprisingly brutal ways, he spends most of his time in her presence. Like many Plague dragons, he has an unhealthy obsession with bones and wears a crown assembled of them, claiming they are from the corpses of his enemies - and no one doubts him. He is a skilled fighter and terrifying hunter, but refuses to do either for any dragon but himself. In battle, he prefers to get close into 'impale' range where he can use his claws, wings and even the horn on his snout to take down opponents. If the victim is unlucky enough to not die in combat, they are dragged into his den - and the screams can be heard echoing from deep beneath the earth.

Exalting Diodorus to the service of the Shadowbinder will remove them from your lair forever. They will leave behind a small sum of riches that they have accumulated. This action is irreversible.
