Biography
Lycus
Representative of Plague
Plague flight ambassadors have an unusually high turnover rate. Especially in Nature clans, but it's rarely the fault of the clan they're living in. Those of us who don't share that close relationship with the Plaguebringer aren't always privy to the reasoning, but my understanding is that their succession progresses quickly depending on their own standards of "suitability", rather than allowing what's been planted to grow safely for very long.
Not all Plague dragons enjoy this tradition, as it turns out. It of course does not speak well upon the dragon getting replaced. Lycus is our second ambassador to Plague, but his ability to camouflage himself has - so he hopes - made it seem like there have been many more. Whether this worked or not is dubious, but regardless, Lycus has been with us for some time, and with relatively few duties besides.
When news of the First Seed incident spread, the ambassadorial rotation process stopped completely, as their diplomats realized what it would look like if any Plague ambassadors to Nature were suddenly replaced as rumors of espionage abounded. So, Lycus has kept his colors for now... but in exchange, he has stepped up to a more actively diplomatic role, to face the tensions head on and seek to mitigate them. After all, he doesn't want a war any more than we do.
