It is rare for a mere hatchling to pass the test to become a Second. Rarer still for her to do so just hours after hatching. But Seung was no ordinary child, no. She was the daughter of the Head of House Antares. Though not born a superior Wildclaw, as her mother had been, Seung, just like her mother, loved House Antares deeply with all her heart, and could not have been persuaded to leave even if she had been born a Wildclaw.

Lucky for Colette, then, that Seung was a Skydancer.

Her brothers were more of a quiet nature, but Seung was loud and opinionated. Acting as a Second riding on her mother's shoulder, she oversaw the House and how it ran. As she grew, though, so did her ambitions. Like her father, her tiny wings ached to wander. She did not want to be a typical Second, glued to her mother's side. No, she wanted to travel with the Dancers her mother employed, see new people, new faces.

Have her trident taste fresh blood.

She begged her mother to let her leave, seek solace in a new clan. Colette agreed, but only if Seung would agree to return, should she be needed at a moment's notice. Her mother saw her ambition, and did not want her daughter to get ahead of herself.

She needn't have worried, for Seung, as her name suggests, was born to inherit the role of Second. She dutifully reported in to her mother when asked, and kept the other Dancers in line.

Seung is attractive, her large red eyes (larger than most Skydancers) intriguing and hypnotizing. She uses this to her advantage when courting potential kills. She will not deign to taint the precious blood of her line, so she must wait a while for a suitable mate. For him, though, she will not care. He must only provide for her more Dancers, one that may take her place as Second one day.

But she is not eager to give away her role. Any ambitious children of hers would do best to tread lightly.
