The dragon form of my beautiful dog Faith :) Born on her birthday (though not the same age as my real-life Faith) and keeping her as a babe <3 First Permababy in the lair. Maybe gene change in future. More will be added to this bio when her adopted sister hopefully joins the clan next year. On Faith's adopted sisters Hope's birthday. :) Photo of the real life Faith and Hope included below in all their cuteness. |

She was fawned and cuddled over from the very start of her arrival and became more then a little spoiled because of it. Although at times she can pretend not to listen or understand when someone is asking her something when in a sulky mood, Faith is actually very intelligent. Often picking up skills quickly and being surprisingly in tune to what other maybe feeling. Often following those she is closest too, when she can sense them upset or ill. She is very caring and loving under a bit of a stubborn spoiled persona. There were many ups ands downs in the small dragons life, as with everyone, the main one that changed everything was the day the clans second permababy was adopted into the clan. Something Faith struggled with badly. A lot of the clans focus went into the new extremely shy and anxious newcomer, which created uncertainty and jealously on Faith's part who wasn't use to sharing the attention. Even though all Hope wanted was some reassurance from Faith the only other permababe there and for the adult dragons to leave her alone. It took weeks for Faith to come out of her sulk and sudden insecurity. (Which was helped by some of the older dragons understanding the need to reassure her and give Hope space) She slowly started approaching the new hatchling, curiosity getting the better of her, though Hope wasn't so sure herself at first since Faith had been avoiding her up to that point in time. |

Then one rainy evening, in the cold and dark, something happened between them and suddenly they were both playing! Uncaring of the normally dreaded rain, (both girls didn't let getting their paws, and who can blame them?) all the pent up tension, anxiety, all the negative emotions and unknown was released into the air that night... and washed away, if only for a short time, in the rain and bouncy play. It was the start of things. A dam slowly springing a leak and slowly releasing water over time. Things still weren't perfect between the two babes. As with anything it would take time and patience for things to develop. For Faith to curl up next to Hope, in rest and sleep. For Hope to feel confident and safe enough to initiate play herself. It would take a lot of time for the barriers to come down, but baby steps is what these two babies needed. And though it will take time, Hope would soon learn she now had a protective (if sometimes grumpy) big sister to look up too. And Faith would learn that is was nice having another permababe to have as a companion sister. Even if she did have to share some attention now, Hope was worth it. ... Depending on the day and mood Faith was in anyway. |
